The hotel has a contemporary African feel with personalized service.Madidi Lodge actively aims to reduce the carbon footprint. This is done by recycling water from the showers to water the garden. And the green waste from the kitchen is used to make compost. This compost is used to fertilize the flower garden and the herb garden where fresh herbs are grown.
Furthermore the products used in the kitchen are sourced locally and where possible grown in the gardens of Madidi Lodge itself.
The lodge uses energy saving lights to reduce its use of energy.
And for extensions and improvements of the lodge as much eco-friendly materials as possible are used.
